Lithuania launches the new IDAIS portal for Intrastat reporting

Lithuania has launched a fully modernised IDAIS e-portal for Intrastat reporting, replacing the previous system. New rules for submitting and accepting Intrastat reports were approved on 22 April 2026 and took effect on 1 June 2026. From that date, Intrastat reports for both arrivals and dispatches must be filed exclusively through the IDAIS platform or via direct system-to-system integration.

Historical reports from June 2024 onward are being migrated to the new system. Businesses that submit manually will need to use the new portal, while those that rely on automated submissions should review and update their integrations to ensure reports continue to be accepted without interruption.

Impact for you If you report Intrastat in Lithuania, you must now use the IDAIS portal or update your system-to-system integration. Older submission channels are no longer accepted. Automated filers in particular should test their connection before the next deadline to avoid rejected or missed returns. See Intrastat by country for current thresholds and deadlines.
How EasyIntrastat helps We keep up with national platform changes like IDAIS and handle validation and submission for you, so a portal migration in one country doesn't disrupt your reporting or require you to maintain integrations yourself.
